Springfield, MA – Today, Congressman Richard E. Neal released the following statement on the third anniversary of the October 7 terrorist attack:
“Three years have passed since Hamas carried out a barbaric attack against Israel, taking 1,200 innocent lives and hundreds more hostage. Today, we honor and remember those innocent lives lost and the families forever changed by this horrific day, and reaffirm our commitment to combating antisemitism in all its forms.
“May we honor their memory by working to end the cycle of violence that has plagued the region for far too long and achieve a lasting and enduring peace for Israelis and Palestinians.”
