Today, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard E. Neal (D-MA) issued the following statement after his appointment to the conference committee on economic competitiveness legislation:
“I look forward to advocating for the America COMPETES Act, House-passed legislation that supports U.S. workers, strengthens our economy, shores up supply chains, and takes the toughest stance against China’s unfair trade practices of any proposal before Congress.”
