SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – U.S. Rep. Richard Neal visited Palmer as part of his “Landmark Laws, Local Investments” tour to highlight municipal projects supported by federal funding.
The tour spotlighted municipal work supported by several federal legislative packages. Money from the American Rescue Plan Act, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Inflation Reduction Act was used for multiple local projects throughout Palmer.
Palmer Town Manager Brad Brothers expressed appreciation for the federal support during the event. “It’s unbelievable,” Brothers said. “Looking forward to continuing the partnership.”
Brothers and members of the town council joined Neal as he visited multiple spots in town, including Palmer High School.
