Salem, Mass. — Today, the full Massachusetts congressional delegation released the following statement in support of the Jewish community after the antisemitic hostage-taking incident in Texas.

We stand in solidarity with the Jewish community in the wake of the horrific hostage-taking at Congregation Beth Israel. Americans everywhere have the right to worship in peace. Yet the rising tide of antisemitism has forced Jewish organizations across the country to confront violence as a clear and present threat. We cannot allow this to be the new normal. We must all work towards a future free from antisemitism and faith-based violence.
