On the eve of another missed, self-imposed trade deadline for the Trump Administration, Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement:
“Almost to 90 days, and the Trump Administration’s only achievement is breaking another promise to the American people. The results promised are nowhere to be found. Prices are rising, the world is less secure, and workers are being left behind. All the while, the President continues to cozy up to China, punish our allies with reckless tariffs, and stick workers and families with the bill for his corruption and incompetence.
“Don’t expect anything different when the clock ticks midnight.”
