Today, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement on today’s Supreme Court decision protecting access to mifepristone:  

“Today’s Supreme Court ruling gives certainty to millions of American that they can access safe, effective medication, affirming the FDA’s rigorous drug approval processes and the scientific proof they provide. While today’s decision is a critical hurdle for Republicans’ judicial activism, their shameful agenda continues to severely restrict reproductive health care around the country. Democrats will continue to fight tooth and nail to oppose their extremist, anti-choice, and anti-science agenda.”
