Congressman Richard E. Neal released the following statement on the passing of Senator Dianne Feinstein.
“Dianne Feinstein led a distinguished career and was a trailblazer for women in public service. Having served as Mayor of San Francisco, she understood the importance of delivering for her constituency and was a fierce advocate for the people of California. That advocacy is what made her an effective Senator, bringing about real change that truly improved the lives of those she served in her home state and throughout the nation, and we are all better for it. My sympathies are with her loved ones during this tremendously difficult time.”
