Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement after the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released their latest update to the Budget and Economic Outlook:

“The wildest part is Republicans will read today’s report and still believe they can sell their deficit-busting tax cuts for billionaires and big corporations as a means of raising revenue and growing our economy. It’s time to put an end to the biggest lies in the book. Their failed, trickle-down playbook didn’t work in ’01, ’03, ’17, and the nation certainly can’t afford to see another of their failures in ’25.”
