Neal Celebrates 1 Million Pensions Saved by the American Rescue Plan

Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement celebrating the protection of 1 million pensions by the American Rescue Plan:
“Keeping workers and their families at the center of our economic recovery is how we broke records. When Ways and Means Democrats were crafting the American Rescue Plan with President Biden, we fought to include relief for the many workers who had played by the rules their entire careers and still saw their retirement security in jeopardy. Now, over a million workers, across 83 plans and in over 20 states, have the peace of mind that their life’s work has been protected. Boosting the strength of the American worker will always be our top priority.”
